


Terminal 4 was the last terminal to be built and was inaugurated in February 2006 making Barajas one of the largest airports in the world by physical size. Madrid-Barajas has four terminals and a satellite. For passengers with AVE tickets (high-speed train) connecting with a flight, this service is free. The single ticket tariff is 2,60 €, valid for one journey in the two hours after it is issued. The estimated travel time from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport to Estación de Chamartín is 11 minutes. If you arrive in a different terminal you can move to the other terminal in a free shuttle bus service connecting the terminals.
